Attack on Muslims in Britain: Britain is going through a period of violence. After the last 13 years, protests are taking place on such a large scale in this country. Muslims are being targeted and are being addressed as terrorists. The entire society in Britain has stood up against Muslims in particular. Qamar Cheema said all these things on his show. He spoke to barrister Hamid Bashani about this matter.
Hamid Bashani said, “Such incidents keep occurring in one or the other western country. Whatever one may say to be politically correct, it is against Muslims. There are some groups that work to promote hatred and they are politically motivated. They vent their anger against the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis they see here. Such incidents are happening all over the world.”
‘The real issue is not racism but something else’
He further said, “The real issue is not racist but something else. Actually, a large number of people have been living there for a long time and after that whatever experiences they go through, the kind of lifestyle they see of our people or the particular kind of culture they see, after that a particular kind of anger and hatred is filled in them. In terms of religion, those people are Muslims or people from Pakistan or Bangladesh.”
And what is the reason for anger against Muslims?
Barrister Bashani says, “The reason for the anger against them is that they leave their country and come here to live and think of improving their lives and when their life comes on track, they reveal their intentions one by one and such poisonous snakes emerge from them that the population cannot bear it. They do not follow the protocol at the halal shop and start praying while walking on the road. They present religion as a threat. So in such a situation, a natural reaction arises in the people that there are only this many of them right now, so this is the situation, what will happen if there are more of them.”
